The large Water Veil series is a step up in scale and weight while sticking with more simple traditional forms. The Water Veils show their true beauty through the clarity of the color patterns within the thick magnifying vessel walls. Two colors are put together on the pipe, two layers of clear are gathered up, then its all put inside a third color layer. This layer is cut up and manipulated into a beautiful watery pattern. The solid thick bottoms on these pieces really sets them off.
