The pieces in the smaller Monolithic series are simple yet elegant forms which capture the light in the room and focus it through the colors in the piece. These pieces incorporate colored frit twisted into patterns and layered within four layers of clear glass. Like the Gestural series, the Monolithic series has negative spaces, or cavities, which elongate with the pieces and add a third dimension to their sculptural qualities.
