Collectible Fine Art Glass

Retrospective Gallery

These photo galleries span 25 years of Joe Nielander's work in glass and provide a sense of the evolution and imagination of the artist. Joe's early work with glass focused on the blowing process. He eventually began exploring many other techniques such as hot casting, frit casting, slumping, fusing, blow molds, sand casting, sandblasting, and others.

Nielander's artwork continues to evolve over time, with significant shifts in styles and techniques evident over more than two decades of dedication to his craft. This technical mastery and artistic vision have made his body of work popular with collectors.

Joe Nielander's work is in the collections of the Rockford Art Museum, IL., Asheville Museum of Art, NC., Columbia Museum of Art, SC., Hickory Museum of Art, NC., Charlotte Public Library, NC., and countless private collections throughout the world.
